Racers Creed

If You think You are beaten You are:
If You think You dare not, You don't
If You like to win but think You can't
It's almost cinch You won't.
If You think you'll Lose, You're Lost:
For out in the world we find
Success Begins with a Fellow's Will:
It's all in the state of mind
If You think you are out classed, You are:
You've Got to think High to Rise,
You've got to be sure of Yourself Before
You can ever win a prize.
Lifes Battles Don't always Go
To the Stronger or Faster Man;
But sooner or Later the Man who wins
Is the Man who Thinks He Can

Presented to #13 Dan Grams at the Redwood Speedway, Custom Tire IMCA Sprint in 2004

The clutch is gone,
Three tires are shot
The rods are knocking,
And the motor's hot
The shifter broke,
Fell on the floor
Got hit in turn three,

Caved in my nerf bar
Broke a shock,
Think I bent the frame,

This ole car'll
Never be the same.
My body feels like it's
The end of the line,
To fix this car
Will take all my time
Oh Lord, don't
Let this motor stall,
One more la and the
Checkered will fall.
They all keep asking,
"Why do you run?"
I have only one answer,
CAUSE IT'S FUN
